How does an umbrella company work?

At Rexive Limited, our umbrella company provides two main functions:

We act as an employer for contractors, freeing them from administrative and legal responsibilities while providing access to employee benefits.

We offer a streamlined PAYE payroll service for contractors, ensuring compliance with all tax regulations and eligibility for expense claims.

As the employer, our income is solely derived from the earnings of our employees and covers all costs related to our services, including payroll administration, tax compliance, and HR support. With Rexive Limited, you can focus on your work while we handle the administrative burdens of contracting.

What Happen At Rexive Limited?

Provide proof of ID, address, and P45 to get started.

We request a copy of your contract from your agency or end client.

As our employee, you'll carry out assignments for various agencies/clients under an overarching contract.

We enter into a contract with the agency or end client to enable you to work for them.

You complete your work at the temporary workplace and upload timesheets to our web portal.

We invoice the agency or end client for the work you've completed, including all employment costs like employer's NICs and holiday entitlement.

The contract rate paid by the agency or end client covers these costs and is higher than what you would receive through direct PAYE.

On the day the agency releases funds, we process the payment and deduct Income Tax, NICs, and our margin.

You receive a text or email notification when your payment is on its way.

Is Rexive Limted right for me?

We believe in your freedom to choose. Some agencies may have a Preferred Supplier List (PSL) that contains umbrella companies they usually work with, but you should be free to use an umbrella company of your choice. Our team will work with your agency to ensure a seamless integration and hassle-free onboarding process. And if we're not already working with your agency, we'll give them a quick call to introduce ourselves and make sure everything is in order. Are there any Risks Associated with using an Umbrella Company?

It depends on the company you choose. At Rexive Limited, we strongly advise that you conduct thorough research before selecting an umbrella company. It is crucial to choose an organization that is fully compliant with tax laws and regulations. Be wary of companies that promise unrealistically high take-home pay rates, as they may be operating non-compliant schemes. We prioritize compliance and transparency, ensuring that our contractors receive the correct and lawful payments they are entitled to.

PAYROLL

Rexive Limited processes payroll twice a day, five days a week and pays contractors via Faster Payments for same-day payments. This means that you'll get notified as soon as your funds are sent, ensuring that your hard work is promptly compensated. This service helps to ensure that you are paid on time, every time, without any delay.

DEDICATED CONTRACTOR PA

Rexive Limited provides a personal assistant who is available to help with anything you need, every step of the way. This means that you can focus on what you do best, leaving the administrative tasks to Rexive Limited. Your personal assistant can help with tasks such as invoicing, timesheets, expenses, and more. This service ensures that you have the support you need to run your business smoothly.

FIXED PRICE STRUCTURE

Rexive Limited offers a fixed price structure that provides transparent and affordable pricing. No matter what you earn, their fees cover all employment insurance and administrative costs, with no hidden fees or surprises.
